Printing

Photo Lab quality prints—from your home printer!

There are many reasons why your home printer has not given you the vibrant, crisp photo prints you have come to expect from your photo lab: The printer settings may not be optimized for printing photos; the paper settings may be incorrect; the colors as they appear onscreen may not be calibrated to your particular printer.

OK. So how do you fix it?

Well, with Noromis PhotoLab, you don’t have to do anything special or complicated. We walk you through the process.

Photo fixing

The first step to getting a good print is to get a good photo. Noromis PhotoLab automatically fixes your photo with exposure and color settings geared for printing your photos. To learn more, see Auto Enhancement.

Printer setup

The first time you print, we’ll help you with your printer setup and tell you what options to select, from within Noromis PhotoLab. No need to go find your printer settings panel. This is a one time configuration: you set it up once, and Noromis PhotoLab will remember your photo print settings and reset them every time you use us to print. After we’re done, we’ll return you printer to its previous setup.

Paper selection and layout

You already know that the paper you use makes all the difference in your prints, that’s why you have invested in high-quality, glossy photo paper in just the right size for your prints: 4×6, 5×7, 8×10, etc. But your prints still don’t look good. Why? Because the printer is still configured for lower quality paper that absorbs the ink differently. Noromis PhotoLab will help you choose the correct paper type, and then let you just click the photo layout for perfect printing: with or without borders and captions.
